A family table, open to everyone.
A table with a story.
NOMAD began with a simple belief: some of the best moments in life happen around a table.
A meal shared with family. A conversation that lasts longer than expected. The smell of charcoal in the air. Warm bread passed from one person to another. A cup of tea that makes everyone stay just a little longer.
These are the moments that inspired NOMAD — a Turkish restaurant in Ontario built around food, fire, sharing and the feeling of being welcome.
For us, food has never been only about what is placed on a plate. It is about the people sitting around it, the stories being told, and the memories that are made along the way.
Our Menu & Cooking
Our menu is inspired by the flavours and traditions we know and love.
Döner sliced warm from the spit. Kebabs cooked over charcoal. Generous breakfast plates filled with familiar flavours. Fresh ingredients, warm bread, Turkish tea and coffee.
Simple things, prepared with care.
There is something special about cooking over fire. The heat of the charcoal, the aroma that fills the air, and the unmistakable flavour it brings to the food are all part of the experience.
At NOMAD, that connection to fire is at the heart of our kitchen.
Sharing & Hospitality
Turkish cuisine has always been shaped by sharing. Tables are filled with different dishes, people reach across for another bite, and meals have a way of turning into conversations that last much longer than planned.
We wanted to bring that spirit to our own table here in Canada.
A place where you can come with your family, meet a friend, enjoy a meal after a long day, or simply discover something you have never tried before.
Whether Turkish food is already part of your story or you are experiencing it for the first time, there is always room at the table.
Come for the döner. Stay for the kebab. Share a breakfast. Pour another cup of tea. Take your time.
There is no right way to experience NOMAD. Maybe you come in knowing exactly what you want. Maybe you ask us what to try. Maybe you arrive for a quick meal and find yourself staying a little longer.
Whatever brings you through the door, we hope you leave with more than a full plate.
We hope you leave with a taste you remember, a moment you enjoyed, and a reason to come back.
Because at NOMAD, we believe good food tastes better when it is shared.
